Yummy Sushi- NJ

Once a month I host an Open Mic- Cultural Art Expression for poets, writers, acoustic musicians at It's A Grind in Robbinsville, 7-9 PM. Due to forgetting to set my watch back an hour, I ended up there early, so I decided to go eat something light.

Yummy Sushi
2350 Route 33
Robbinsville, NJ (phone listing says, Washington Township)
609.259.8388

Yummy Sushi just a few doors down from the coffee house offered many light choices for my eating pleasure. A friend had mentioned she ate at the one in Ewing off Parkway Avenue, but this is not related to the one where I dined.

Service
was courteous and prompt...Menu was not too long like many sushi or Japanese places you find dotting the country side today.

I ordered-

Avocado Salad
Mixed greens with shredded carrots and my favorite...Ginger Dressing

Veggie Tempura
Not too big plate of panko crusted onion, yams, broccoli, and zucchini

Chef Special- Lobster Roll
Lobster salad (chunky)topped with roe; atop a lobster and avocado filled soy bean sheets...they did have a miso sauce on the plate; which was way too much and too sweet, but I ate around that.

It was all good, and they are BYO!

I have still not learned to appreciate a lot of sushi. But I keep trying. Now vegetable tempura - h yes. It must be the fried thing.
